Philosophy

Welcome

AYSO's mission is to provide quality youth soccer programs where everyone builds positive character through participation in a fun, family-oriented environment. We achieve this by adhering to (5) fundamental principles:

Everyone Plays

"Everyone Plays" means exactly that. Every player on every team receives a guaranteed amount of playing time. Although AYSO's national minimum requirement is only half the game, Region 795 typically requires a minimum of three quarters.

Balanced Teams

Region 795 evaluates each player during the season, so we can attempt to distribute talent equally when selecting teams for the following season. Although it is not a perfect science, we do try our best to make it fair and fun for all.

Open Registration

Region 795 attempts to accept every player who registers, provided we have space and/or teams in the relevant age group. Registration is on a first come first serve basis, so sign your kids up now!

Positive Coaching

Our coaches are there to provide instruction, encouragement, and most importantly to make sure the kids are having fun.

Good Sportsmanship

Although Vince Lombardi claimed "winning isn't everything, its the only thing," AYSO takes a slightly different approach. We strive to create a positive environment based on mutual respect rather than a win-at-all-costs attitude and our program is designed to instill good sportsmanship in every facet of AYSO.
